## Expected Behavior

- Initialize serial logging.
- Initialize LCD.
- Connect to Wi-Fi with timeout.
- Show status: booting, connecting, connected, failed/retrying.
- Avoid committing credentials.

## Physical Test Procedure

1. Confirm LCD works with known test message.
2. Flash Wi-Fi firmware.
3. Watch serial logs.
4. Verify LCD status transitions.
5. Record failures and reconnect behavior.
